County of Jefferson
IN THE MATTER OF REQUESTING MONEY FOR
AN ADDITIONAL CASH DRAWER FOR
JEFFERSON COUNTY AUDITOR'S OFFICE

}RESOLUTION NO. 77-94
}
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Auditor's Office has an established cash
drawer of $50.00 for the main cashier at the Recording Desk;
WHEREAS, the Auditor has requested an additional cash drawer in
the amount of $50.00 for the back-up person in order to comply with the Jefferson County
Cash Handling Policy;
WHEREAS, in this manner the Auditor's office would be complying
with the Cash Handling Policy of the County, in that only one person will maintain control
of the cash drawer.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is hereby
authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of $50.00 payable to Jefferson County
Auditor for the purpose of a second cash drawer for the back-up person for the recording
desk.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one
to meet needs and this Resolution shall be in force and take effect without further notice
or hearing.
