An Intent to Transfer
County Property to the
City of Port Townsend

WHEREAS, after due consideration, and in contemplation of the language of the
statute R.C.W. 36.34.130, it appears of this Board of County Commissioners that it is in
the public interest to transfer the following property, all situate in the State of Washington
to the City of Port Townsend:
Parcel One:
Tideland Districts SIA and SIB fronting Block 9 of the plat of the Port
Townsend Original Townsite, as per plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page
1, records of the Jefferson County Auditor.
Parcel Two:
Tideland District 41 fronting Block 8 of the plat of the Port Townsend
Original Townsite, as per plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 1, records
of the Jefferson County Auditor.
Parcel Three:
Tideland District 43 fronting Block 8 of the plat of the Port Townsend
Original Townsite, as per plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 1, records
of the Jefferson County Auditor.
Parcel Four:
Lot 16 in Block 31 of the Supplementary Plat of Eisenbeis Addition to the City
of Port Townsend, as per plat recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, Page 24, records
of the Jefferson County Auditor, together with that portion of vacated Landes
Street, excepting therefrom the right of way of State Highway 20.
Parcel Five:
Lots 1 through 16, inclusive, in Block 19 of the plat of Mountain View 2nd
Addition to the City of Port Townsend, as per plat recorded in Volume 2 of
Plats, Page 4, records of Jefferson County Auditor.
Parcel Six:
All of Block 4 of Mountain View Addition to the City of Port Townsend, as
per plat recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 24, records of the Jefferson

County Auditor. To be used for active recreational purposes only. and

to be used for that purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and the Director of Public Works is
hereby directed to examine said property and report his opinion as to whether this property
should be transferred and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance
to the Boards, and that such report be filed as soon as possible. A public hearing on the
proposed transfer shall be conducted by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners.
