IN THE MATTER OF PROVIDING
A LOAN TO THE E911 FUND FOR
THE FUNDING OF ENHANCED 911
IMPLEMENTATION COSTS

RESOLUTION NO. 98-94
WHEREAS, the State of washington Enhanced 911 Implementation
Fund will reimburse the county for costs related to the implementation of the
countywide enhanced 911 system, and
WHEREAS, the county will pay for these costs and bill the State for
reimbursement
IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DECLARED that the public welfare,
convenience and the uninterrupted public service provided by the Enhanced
911 implementation requires this Board of county Commissioners to proceed
in manner and form as herein determined, and that the sum of $500,000 be
loåned to the E911 Fund from the county Road Fund. The loan to be repaid
in full along with an interest payment of 4% per annum when the monies are
reimbursed by the State.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners that the county Treasurer be, and she is hereby authorized
and empowered, to transfer the amount of $500,000 from the county Road
Fund to the E911 Fund.
