WHEREAS, this matter coming to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's report with
respect to "Resolution No. 115-94: Intent to Establish a County Road" submitted by the Jefferson County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing has been posted
and published to the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such publication and posting being
now on file herein; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners having heard and considered all evidence and
matters submitted in relation thereto does now find and determine that the public will be benfitted by the
establishment as a part of the county road system;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ORDERED THAT:
That road known as Critter Lane, being 60 feet wide and 0.16 miles long, lying in the
Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 8, Township
30 North, Range 1 West, W.M. (Assessor's Parcel No. 001081004), and more descriptively
shown on attached EXHIBIT A,
BE HEREBY ESTABLISHED AND DESIGNATED AS COUNTY ROAD NO. 625709.
ADOPTED THIS FIFTH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1994.

DEDICA TION
JEFFERSON COUNTY, acting by and through the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners, does hereby declare that that street known as Critter Lane, lying in
the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
8, Township 30 North, Range 1 West, W.M. (Assessor's Parcel No. 001081004) to
be a public right of way, and dedicates to the public forever the use of a 60-foot
wide right of way for all public purposes not inconsistent with the use thereof for
public highway purposes.

SUBJ: Road Establishment - Critter Lane

Pursuant to RCW 36,81.050, I have examined Critter Lane and make the following report:
Critter Lane was built as an access road to serve the newly constructed county animal
shelter. The road as proposed is practicable for establishment as a county road,
1, It is my opinion that the road is a necessity to provide access to a public facility, the
new animal shelter.
2, The proper terminal points are as follows: Beginning at M,P, 0,10, left, on County
Landfill Road (#626009), proceeding in a southwesterly direction ending at M,P, 0,16,
The road lies completely within county owned property in Section 8, Township 30
North, Range 1 West, W,M,
3, The proper right of way width should be 60 feet. A plat of the right of way will need
to be drawn up and deed for the road recorded for the dedication of the right of way,
4, Construction of the road was completed as part of the building of the new animal
shelter. Future costs for surfacing the road are estimated at $15,000,
