WHEREAS, Voting Precincts 501-Port Ludlow I and 503-Port
Ludlow III are approaching the maximum number of voters allowed by
RCW 29.04,040, and
WHEREAS, Voting Precinct 502-Port Ludlow II has a small number
of voters, and in order to make the least number of changes for
said voters, and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed necessary to divide Precincts 501-
Port Ludlow I and 503-Port Ludlow III and amend 502-Port Ludlow-
II pursuant to RCW 29.04.040 and RCW 29.04.050, thus amending and
creating five (5) precincts, and
WHEREAS, these precincts shall be designated as Precincts 501-
Port Ludlow I, 502-Port Ludlow II, 503-Port Ludlow III, 504-
Paradise Bay, and 505-South Point, the legal description of each
precinct being hereby attached,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that these precincts be
established and shall be effective no later than April 1, 1993.

Voter precinct No, 501 is hereby amended and described as follows:
The southeast quarter of the northeast quarter, the east half of the southeast quarter, the southwest quarter of
the southeast quarter, and the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter, of Section 8; all of Section 9; that
portion of the north half of Section 16 lying northwesterly of Port Ludlow Bay; the north half of Section 17; all
in Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M., said precinct being encompassed by the following boundary:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the north section line of Section 9, Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W,M,
with the meander line in Port Ludlow Bay;
THENCE west along the north section line of Sèction 9 to the northwest section corner of Section 9;
THENCE south along the west section line of Section 9 to the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 8;
THENCE west along the north line of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 8 to the

and the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter, of Section 8; all of Section 18 and Section 19; all in Township
28 North, Range 1 East; AND
The east half of Section 1 and the east half of Section 12, Township 28 North, Range 1 West, W,M.; AND
Sections 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33, Township 29 North, Range 1 East, W.M,;
Said precinct being encompassed by the following boundary:

quarter, of Section 35; all of Section 36; all in Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M,;
Said precinct being encompassed by the following boundary:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly,projected extension of the south section line of Section 35,
Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M. with the Jefferson County-Kitsap County line;
THENCE northeasterly and northwesterly along the Jefferson County-Kitsap County line to the intersection with
the easterly projected extension of the north section line of Section 9, Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W,M,;
THENCE west along the easterly projected extension of the north section line of Section 9 to the intersection
with the northerly projected extension of the west section line of Section 10;

Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M.;
Said precinct being encompassed by the following boundary:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly projected extension of the south section line of Section 35,
Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M. with the Jefferson County-Kitsap County line;
