RESOLUTION NO. 28-93
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE ADEQUACY
AND AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
FOR THE PORT LUDLOW DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners authorized the release
of the Port Ludlow Development Program Draft Environmental Impact Statement
for public review on October 26, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners conducted a public
hearing on November 17, 1992 and received written public comments on the Port
Ludlow Development Program Draft Environmental Impact Statement until
December 9, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed each
such comment received and has prepared responses to such comments that are
included in the Port Ludlow Development Program Final Environmental Impact
Statement; and
WHEREAS, the preparation of the responses to such an unusually large and
complex document required additional time to prepare the final document for
release, pursuant to WAC 197-11-460(6); and
WHEREAS, both factual corrections and supplements, improvements and
modifications have been prepared to modify the analysis applied in the Draft
Environmental Impact Statement in order to address the comments received;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Jefferson County Board of
County Commissioners, acting as the SEPA responsible official, finds that the
Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Port Ludlow Development Program
is adequate and authorizes its issuance.
