IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING
CASH BOXES AND A PETTY CASH
ACCOUNT FOR THE JEFFERSON
COUNTY PERMIT CENTER

RESOLUTION NO. 50-93
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Permit Center has requested the amount
of $300.00 to be used in three cash boxes cover cash transactions in their office in a
timely manner; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Permit Center has also requested that a
Petty Cash Fund also be established for the Department in order to cover various office
expenses when cash is required, and to better the efficiency of office operations; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the establishment of three cash boxes with the
sum of $100.00 each and a Petty Cash Account with the sum of $100.00 is necessary
in order to conduct the affairs of the Permit Center in a prompt and orderly manner;
now, therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is hereby
authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of $400.00 payable to the
Jefferson County Permit Center for the purpose of establishing cash boxes and a petty
cash account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one to
meet needs and this Resolution shall be in force and take effect without further notice
or hearing.
