In the Plat of Phillips Addition to Irondale x
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road vacation
petition submitted by Ross Ray and Mark Stewart; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner held a public hearing on the road
vacation petition on October 19, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner considered testimony of the public,
comments from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from the
Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County Planning Department at the
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner determined at the public hearing that
the public will benefit from the vacation of portions of the roads and such vacation complies with
the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered said Hearing
Examiner's report of the public hearing and his recommendation for the vacation request and
hereby adopts the Findings of the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner dated October 27,1993;
and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson County
Road Vacation Ordinance No. 06-0615-92 has been met,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be'.vacated and abandoned
pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordináhce No. 06-0615-92:
that portion of platted Pine Street being 50 feet in width and approximately 127 feet in length
lying between Blocks 8 and 10 of the plat of Phillips Addition to Iroridale, as recorded at page
130, Volume 2 of plats, records of Jefferson County, Washington. In compliance with Jefferson
County Ordinance No. 06-0615-92 and RCW 36.87.140, an easement tén feet in width along the
westerly margin of the right of way as platted shall be retained for the construction, repair, and
maintenance of public utilities.
