RESOLUTION NO.
18-92
WHEREAS, RCW 58.09.100 authorizes the Board of County
Commissioners to fix the charges for filing and recording of survey and/or recording
of land corner information, and;
WHEREAS, the Washington State Association of County Auditors has
suggested to all counties a fee schedule, which schedule recognizes the costs
expended by Auditors in the recording of surveys or land corner information and;
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Auditor, has reviewed the suggested
fee schedule, finds it to be fair and reasonable and will help to cover actual costs of
recording, and accordingly recommends that the Board accept and fix fees as
suggested by the Washington State Association of County Auditors,
NOw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington that the Board hereby adopts the
following fees for recording a public record as prescribed by Chapter 58.09 RCW as
follows:
Record of Survey. The size of the record of land surveys shall be 18 inches
by 24 inches and the fee schedule for filing shall be as follows:
1. Basic fee first page $25.00
2. DNR fees 26.00 *
3. Maintenance and Operation fee 2.00 *

These fees are not set by the Board of County
Commissioners, If the entities which establish these
fees increase or decrease their fees, the total fee
collected by the Auditor's Office shall automatically,
upon the effective date of such change, be adjusted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that this fee schedule shall become
effective 30 days from the date this Resolution is adopted.
