In the Matter of Establishment}
Establishment of a Revolving}
Fund for Animal Services }
RESOLUTION NO. 56-92
WHEREAS, the establishment of a Revolving Fund for use by Jefferson
County Animal Services is necessary for conducting the business of the Animal
Shelter; and,
WHEREAS, it has been adjudged necessary that such a revolving fund
be established in the amount of $750.00 to be used specifically for collecting and
refunding the deposits for adopted animals.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County
Treasurer be, and she is hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount
of $750.00 payable to Jefferson Animal Services for the purpose of establishing a
revolving fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that the said Revolving Fund shall be
maintained in a bank as a checking account, which will be balanced each month and
all forfeited deposits will be transferred to the Jefferson County Treasurer's Office on
a quarterly basis.
BE IT FINALL Y RESOL VED, that the subject matter hereof is one to meet
needs and this resolution shall be in force and take effect without further notice or
hearing.
