RESOLUTION NO.
57-92
Appointment of Deputy Coroners
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Coroner is authorized by
RCW 36.16.030, 36.16.070 and Resolution 98-78 to appoint Deputy
Coroners to assist him in performing the duties of that office; and
WHEREAS, Sharon Thatcher is a duly appointed deputy of
the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney and Jim M. Newton is the
duly appointed Chief of the Port Townsend Police Department and as
such would be desirable persons to assist the Jefferson County
Coroner, Now Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the appointment of Sharon Thatcher
and Chief Jim Newton is approved by the Board of Jefferson County
commissioners.
