and a Petty Cash Fund for the
ANIMAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

RESOLUTION NO.
85-92
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Animal Services has requested the amount
of $25.00 to make change for cash transactions handled at the Chimacum Valley
Veterinary Hospital for animal licenses sold on behalf of Jefferson County; and
WHEREAS, Animal Services has also requested that a Petty Cash Fund
also be established for the Department in order to cover various office expenses when
cash is required, and to better the efficiency of office operations; and
WHEREAS, it appears these amounts are necessary in order to conduct
the affairs of the Animal Services Department in a prompt and orderly manner; now,
therefore;
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is hereby
authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of $100.00 payable to Jefferson
County Animal Services, for the purpose of establishing the Animal Services cash
drawer at the Chimacum Valley Veterinary Hospital in the amount of $25.00 and the
Petty Cash Fund for the Department in the amount of $75.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one to
meet needs and this Resolution shall be in force and take effect without further notice
or hearing.
