RESOLUTION NO. 107-92
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is applying to the State of Washington for
a Community Block Grant; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the
application requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners conducted a
public hearing on the 2nd day of November, 1992, as part of the application process
to receive and consider citizen comments on community needs and proposed activities;
and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County shall agree to comply with all applicable
federal and state regulations in the event that this application is selected for funding;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Board
of Commissioners authorizes submission of a Community Development Block Grant
application to the State of Washington for a Multi-Faceted Transitional Center for
Disadvantaged People that is proposed by the Skookum Jump Rope Company in the
amount of $500,000.
