In the Matter of Authorizing }
Jefferson County Planning & Building Department}
Director to Sign the Centennial Clean Water Fund}
Grant Application and Administration Documents}
Resolution No. 15,"91
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is seeking to continue and expand its participation in the
Washington State Department of Ecology Centennial Clean Water Fund grants to control non point
water pollution; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning and Building Department staff has prepared a
Centennial Clean Water Fund grant application for water quality studies and preparation of a watershed
action plan for the Discovery Bay Watershed; and
WHEREAS, for the purposes of the grant application, the Washington State Department
of Ecology requires a resolution granting signatory authority from the public body, the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners, to the Grant Administrator, David Goldsmith, Director of the Planning and
Building Department;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
do grant signatory authority to Jefferson County Planning and Building Department Director David
Goldsmith for the purpose of the Centennial Clean Water Fund grant application and administration.

RESOLUTION
CENTENNIAL CLEAN WATER FUND GRANT
FOR DISCOVERY BAY WATERSHED ACTION PLAN
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is seeking to continue and expand its
participation in Washington State Department of Ecology centennial
Clean Water Fund grants to control nonpoint water pollution; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Planning and Building Department staff
has prepared a Centennial Clean Water Fund grant application for
