WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road vacation petition
submitted by William Marlow; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the road vacation
petition on April 16, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of the public,
comments from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County
Public Works Department and Jefferson County Planning Commission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the public hearing that the
public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of the road and such vacation complies with the Jefferson
County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson County Road Vacation
Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to
RCW36.87.14O and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of unopened Arden Street
being 50 feet in width and approximately 600 feet in length adjoining Blocks 75 and 82 of lrondale No.3, as
recorded on Page 131, Volume 2 of Plats, records of the Jefferson County Auditor, State of Washington, along
with all those lot lines in Block 75 ofIrondale No.2 as recorded in Vol. 2, P. 129 of Plats, records of Jefferson
County, Washington, EXCEPT those lying between Lots 6 & 7,12 & 13, and 18 & 19.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW
36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: all those lot lines in Block 75 of Irondale
No.3 as recorded in Vol. 3, P, 131 of Plats EXCEPT those lying between Lots 30 & 31, 36 & 37, and 42 & 43.
also to vacate all those lot lines in Block 82 of said Irondale No.3 EXCEPT those lying between Lots 6 & 7,12
& 13, 18 & 19, 36 & 37, 42 & 43, 25 through 31, and except that line lying between Lots 19 through 24 and Lots
25 through 30.
