WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road
vacation petition submitted by Nelda C. Wythe; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing
on the road vacation petition on March 18, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony
of the public, comments from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and
recommendation from the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson
County Planning Commission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the
public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of the road and
such vacation complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other
applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87,120 and Jefferson
County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and
abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87,140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance
No. 3-85: that portion of unvacated platted Tukey Avenue being 30 feet in width adjoining
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 7 of Tukey's Plat, as recorded in Volume 2, Page 20 of Plats,
records of Jefferson County, and lying northeasterly of the centerly and easterly of an
extension of the westerly line of Lot 1 which bears S 27° 32' 37" E, along with the lot lines
between Lots 1 and 2 of Block 7 in said plat.
ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF APRIL, 1991.
