36-91
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS/EXTENSIONS VARIOUS COUNTY DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning & Building Departments and the Port
Townsend Community Center Fund have requested budget appropriations for their 1991
budgets due to additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing their
said budgets; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and
emergency exists that could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing
the budgets for 1991 and the sum of $82,000,00 is needed for appropriation from the
unencumbered Current Expense Fund; as follows:
CURRENT EXPENSE FUNDS:
Planning & Building Department
Port Townsend Community Center Fund
Health Department
Total

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
and that the appropriations be made for the above noted Departments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency
appropriations and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers,
Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the 6th day of May, 1991, at the hour of 10:00
a,m" and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriations for such alleged emergency.
