WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County
Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to retain as county road right of way:
Those dedicated and usage portions of the Point Whitney Road, County Road
Number 275908, lying outside the right of way as shown in the plans for county road
project CR0528, approved April 1, 1985, said plans being on file in the office of the
Department of Public Works, Jefferson County, Washington State,
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, same is useless,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Engineer is hereby
directed to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this county road right
of way should be vacated and abandoned and all other facts, matters and things which will
be of importance to the Board, and that such report be filed as soon as possible. The
hearing date for the proposed vacation is tl2. tL~ QO , 1991, at the hour of I (J : .&:>
a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers, Coúrtlious , Port Townsend, Washington.
