Home My WebLink About100 91 (1(' Gn\ verb ,G-~.q, RESOLUTION NO. 100-91 HEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS/EXTENSIONS VARIOUS COUNTY DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, various Jefferson County Departments have requested either budget appropriations for their 1991 budgets due to additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing their said budgets, or budget extensions to allow expenditures of unanticipated reimbursements received from the State and Federal government; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists that could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the budgets for 1991 and the sum of $155,027.30 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Current Expense Fund; the sum of $650.00 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Law and Justice Funds; the sum of $5,400.00 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Balloon Hangar Fund; the sum of $21,200.00 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Port Townsend Community Center Fund; and $18,476.31 is needed for budget extensions in the Health and Recreation Department budgets due to unanticipated grant reimbursements as follows: CURRENT EXPENSE FUNDS: Assessor Auditor Auditor-Elections Board of Equalization Cooperative Extension District Court Health Planning & Building Prosecuting Attorney Recreation Total 9,250.00 2,500.00 11,500.00 2,625.00 700.00 29,865.00 111,913.61 1,400.00 1,200.00 3,900.00 $174,853.61 LAW AND JUSTICE FUNDS: District Court 650.00 P.T. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency appropriations and extensions and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the 28th day of October, 1991, at the hour of 11:30 a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer ,may appear and, be heard for or against the appropriations for such alleged emergency. .
