HDItf'N Pill!. ~11-. , R..tA I~' ;J..t{,,/¡ J J - I- , C!-(: ;>/ IN øJ J(J:J.It:¡~ RESOLUTION NO. 133-91 HEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIA TIONS/EXTENSIONS VARIOUS COUNTY DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, various Jefferson County Departments have requested either budget appropriations for their 1991 budgets due to additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing their said budgets, or budget extensions to allow expenditures of unanticipated reimbursements received from the State and Federal government; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists that could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the budgets for 1991 and the sum of $119,532.47 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Current Expense Fund and $25,000.00 is needed for budget extensions in the Fair budget due to unanticipated grant reimbursements as follows: CURRENT EXPENSE FUNDS: Auditor-Elections Board of Equalization Cooperative Extension Coroner District Court Fair Health Facilities Management Recreation Total 12,500.00 3,000.00 1,500.00 4,000.00 2,250.00 25,000.00 69,882.47 20,000.00 6,400.00 $144,532.47 ------------ ------------ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, and that appropriations and extensions be made for the above noted Departments. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency appropriations and extensions and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the 13th day of January, 1991, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriations for such alleged emergency.
