WHEREAS, this matter coming to be heard on the fifth day of February, 1990, upon the
reports submitted by the Jefferson County Public Works Department with respect to the
vacation set forth in "Intent to Vacate", Jefferson County Resolution No. 9-90, and it
appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing has been posted and
published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and
publication being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced and
being fully advised in the premises, does now find and determine that the public will be
benefited by the vacation thereof;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED: that the portion of the South
Bay Lane, County Road Number 508909, described as follows: that portion of the southwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 16, Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W.M" in
Jefferson County, Washington, lying westerly of Ludlow Beach Tracts, as per Volume 3 of
Plats, Page 27, records of said Jefferson County; lying northerly of Paradise Bay Road right
of way, also known as County Road 503609, as conveyed by deed recorded in Volume 1 of Road
Waivers, Page 31, and recorded under Auditor's File Nos. 191355 and 191398; and lying
southerly of the following described line: Beginning at an existing 4 inch by 4 inch
concrete monument with a brass pin in the center of the cul-de-sac adjoining Lots 8 through
12, Ludlow Point Tracts, as recorded in Volume 4 of Plats, Page 6, records of said Jefferson
County; thence S50044' OO"W 309.64 feet to an existing 4 inch by 4 inch concrete monument
with a brass pin on the south shoulder of a gravel road, said monument marking the centerline
of the platted road in said plat of Ludlow Point Tracts; thence S55°22'02"W 161.17 feet to
an existing 4 inch by 4 inch concrete monument marking the intersection of West Ludlow Point
Road and South Bay Lane as shown in said plat of Ludlow Point Tracts; thence S08°05' 52 "W
along the centerline of said South Bay Lane a distance of 978.29 feet; thence N8P54'08"W
178.08 feet to the west line of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said
Section 16 and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this described line; thence S81054' 08"E 728.24
feet to the west line of said Ludlow Beach Tracts and the terminus of this described line,
BE, AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED AND ABANDONED pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.

INTENT TO VACATE
A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 508909
SOUTH BAY LANE
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Jefferson County Board of
Commissioners on Monday, February 5, 1990, at 10:30 A.M. in their chambers at the county
courthouse in Port Townsend, Washington, for the purpose of taking testimony concerning the
vacation of a portion of the South Bay Lane, County Road Number 508909, lying outside the
deeded right of way per Statutory Warranty Deed recorded by Jefferson County Auditor, in
Section 16, Township 28 North, Range 1 East, W,M" Jefferson County, State of Washington,
I certify that the above notice was posted as prescribed by the Jefferson County Road
Vacation Ordinance.
