RESOLUTION NO. 25-90
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION/EXTENSION
HOTELfMOTEL TAX FUND
WHEREAS, there has been a request to the Board of County Commis-
sioners for Hotel/Motel Tax Funds which would require a budget appropriation
for the 1990 budget for this expenditure which was not anticipated at the
time of preparing the said budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a
need and emergency exists that could not have been foreseen or contemplated
at the time of preparing the budget for 1990 and the sum of $6,000.00 is
needed for appropriation from the unencumbered balance of the Hotel/Motel Tax
Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that the extension and appropriation be made for the above
noted Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said
emergency extension and appropriation and that said hearing be held in the
County commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the
26th day of February, 1990, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and
that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or
against the appropriations for such alleged emergency.
