WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Juvenile and Family Court Services
Department has requested budget transfers in order to balance their 1990
Budget of Expenditures; and
WHEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds in other categories
within their budgets to allow the requested transfers; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be and she is hereby
authorized to make the transfers as requested on the attached forms for the
Juvenile and Family Court Services Department for their 1990 budget.

Re evaluation expenditure...this is for a medical bill for' a kid in detention from 1989. The
bill was greater 'than what we had allocated in this catega.ry.
~ diversion counseling...the Hadlock Lions Club has made a $500 grant/donation to Juvenile
D~version for counseling. Since statute prohibits state funds from being expended for diversion
counseling, this line category will allow us to track the specific expenditures~

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget,
it appears that an adjustment should be made within the Juv & Fam crßudget
of Expenditures for the above-named department,
Due to there being sufficiènt funds in other accounts within the budget
of this department to permit the necessary adjustment(s), I hereby request
the following transfer(s): -

527.10 41 0040 CJS Contracts-- Professional Services
$640.00

527.10.41 0045 CJS--DRUG OMNIBUS Project

Reason for Transfer(s) :
Money for this project is funneled through the CJS contract with DSHS/DJR. However, since
it is a separate function, contract and allocation, it will be sorted out in the budget
in order to give a 'bird's eye view' of its use, and it's costs.
The Drug Omnibus money is designed to provide for milegae and a driver to get a youth
back to after-care at Thurston County dentention when s/he has completed the 45-day
in-house program. The design is for twice weekly returns for the 1st month and then
weekly returns for the 2nd and 3rd months.
