Hydrologic Sites x
WHEREAS. Wild Olympic Salmon. a not-for-profit organization located in Jefferson County. has
been awarded a Public Involvement Education grant by the puget Sound Water Quality Authority to
enhance the awareness of hydrologic cycles in Jefferson County. and
WHEREAS. it is in the interests of the citizens of Jefferson County to encourage public awareness
and education regarding water quality, and
WHEREAS. there will be twelve (12) sites located on public property in Jefferson County that will
be designated as specific to the hydrologic cycle identification. on which plaques will be placed to
identify for the future the importance of these hydrologic cycles. and
WHEREAS, all the sites have not been identified. but when identified will be attached as an
addendum to this Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of County Commissioners does hereby resolve
that it is in the public interest to support the efforts of the Wild Olympic Salmon and Puget Sound
Water Quality Authority by authorizing the identification and placement of plaques on the sites as
designated,
