RESOLUTION NO. 58-90
INCREASING THE PETTY CASH FUND
FOR THE JEFFERSON COUNTY PLANNING AND BUILDING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, an increase in the Petty Cash Fund for the Planning and
Building Department is necessi tated in order to help defray the cost of
various office expenses when cash is required and to better the efficiency
of office operations; and
WHEREAS, it has been adjudged necessary, after monitoring the needs
of the Department for such a fund) that the Petty Cash Fund be increased from

$:100.00 established by Resolution No. 31-90 (passed March 12, 1990) to
$1250.00 ;
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and
sþe is hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of

$150.00 payable to the Jefferson County Planning & Building Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one to
meet needs and this resolution shall be in force and take effect without
further notice of hearing.

Increase of Petty Cash

The Planning and Building Department has found that there is a need
to increase Petty Cash from $100.00 to $250.00 due to an increase
demand to make change for Building Permit Applicants. The
Treasures Office will no longer be able to make change for these
applicants as they have in the past.
