78-90
ESTABLISHING SALARIES OF COUNTY COMKISSIONER DISTRICTS
AND AKEN'J)ING RESOLUTION NO. 75-88
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 36.40.205 permits the Jefferson County
commissioners to increase the salary of the County legislative authority
prior to the election of a county official to that position, which shall
become effective upon the commencement of the term next following such
election; and
WHEREAS, the increase in administrative duties and responsibilities
imposed by the legislature upon the county Commissioners mandate a salary
increase with yearly increments added thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners, that pursuant to R.C.W. 36.40.205, the County Commissioner's
annual salaries are hereby established as follows, effective as of January
1 of each year stated:
The salary of the Jefferson County Commissioners for District No.
1 and District No. 2 and District No. 3 shall be:
1993 - Thirty two thousand and no/100 dollars
1994 - Thirty three thousand and nO/100 dollars
1995 - Thirty four thousand and nO/100 dollars
1996 - Thirty five thousand and nO/100 dollars
($32,000.00)

($34,000.00)
($35,000.00)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Commissioner's salaries
shall be reviewed annually during the budget process. Should the economic
climate indicate that salary increases should not be paid or that reductions
should be made, such changes may be made by the County Commissioners without
further resolution.
