Vacation of a Portion of
Belle Street

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road
vacation petition submitted by Garron J. petrick; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public
hearing on the road vacation petition on July 16, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered
testimony of the public, comments from applicable departments, agencies and
offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County Public Works Department
and Jefferson County Pfanning Commission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the
public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of~De road
and such vacation complies with the Jefferson county Comprehensivé Plan and
other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson
County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and
,abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation
Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of platted Belle Street being ten feet in width and
approximately 300 feet in length adjoining Lots 11 through 17 of Block 26, Chalmers
No.2, recorded in Vol. 3, Page 9 of Plats, records of Jefferson County, State of
Washington; EXCEPT any portion deeded to Jefferson County for purposes of a
turning radius, as recorded in Volume 316, Page 46 of Deeds, records of the
Jefferson County Auditor.
