RESOLUTION NO. 11-89
ESTABLISHING TRAVEL ALLOWANCE RATE FOR
COUNTY EMPLOYEES USING PRIVATE AUTOMOBILES
WHEREAS, the escalation of automobile maintenance and insurance costs
causing an undue hardship on County Officials and employees to perform
necessary public business in their respective private automobiles; and
WHEREAS, the State Legislature has authorized the Board of County
Commissioners in each respective district to set the amount of travel
allowance for each mile of necessary travel by any/all County Officials and
employees, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that effective February~, 1989 County Officials and
employees traveling on public business in their respective private automobil-
es shall be entitled to reimbursement for mileage at the rate of $.21 per
mile.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution repeals and replaces
Resolution No. 36-80 adopted April 7, 1980.
