RESOLUTION NO. 22-89
A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE PETTY CASH FUND
FOR THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
. WHEREAS, the Office of the prosecuting Attorney currently
has a petty cash fund ip the amount of $25.00, and
WHEREAS, this amount is insufficient to cover many
immediately needed amounts, primarily miscellaneous costs arising
from trials, thus necessitátingthe writing of vouchers at times
not convenient and not in keeping with the usual and customary
work flow of the Auditor's office, and
WHEREAS, increasing the petty cash fund to the amount of
$500.00, which amount w()uld be placed in a checking account under
the control of the Prosecuting Attorney, would provide a more
appropriate means of obtaining nominal immediately needed funds,
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jef~erson Prosecuting Attorney's
petty cash fund be increased to $500.00 which amount shall be
plaqed in a checking account under the control of the Prosecuting
Attorney. Records regarding the expenditure of such funds shall
be kept by the Qffice of the prosecuting Attorney and shall
include all information and receipts normally required for a
voucher.
