RESOLUTION NO. 68-89

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 73-81 provides for the Board of
Jefferson County Commissioners to appoint a Clerk of the Board,
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Board is occasionally out of the
office and the duties of the Clerk are on-going and must be
maintained;
ROW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Dierdrei Keegan-
Whiteford, Administrative Clerk, be appointed Deputy Clerk of the
Board of the 3efferson County Board of Commissioners, and she
shall be directly employed by the 3efferson County Commissioners
in accordance with Resolution No. 73-81. As Deputy Clerk of the
Board she shall assist with the Clerk's duties in the Clerk's
absence or with the Clerk's permission, perform those duties.
Such appointment shall be effective August -1-J 1989.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August 1989.
