Home My WebLink About103 89 .... ...tII::; . ~ RESOLUTION NO. 103-89 HEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS/EXTENSIONS VARIOUS COUNTY DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, various Jefferson County Departments have requested either budget appropriations for their 1989 budgets due to additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing their said budgets, or budget extension to allow expenditures of unanticipated reimbursements received from the State and Federal government; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists that coulq not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the bUdgets for 1989 and the sum of $631,689.13 is needed for appropriation from the unencumbered Current Expense Fund, and the sum of $21,000.00 is needed for certain budget extensions due to unan- ticipated reimbursements as follows: Capital Improvement Fund Assessor Cooperative Extension Facilities Management Facilities - Parks Jefferson County Centennial Committee Jefferson County Fair Total: $601,355.00 7,000.73 654.40 13,484.00 6,583.00 2,612.00 21~000.00 $652,689.13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, and that extensions and appropriations be made for the above noted Departments. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency extensions and appropriations and that said hearing bè held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the 2Ðth day of~~~lr, 1989, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., and that notice of said hearing~be published in the off~cial newspaper of Jefferson County, aQd that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for~~r aga~nst the appr6priations for such alleged emergency.
