WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners have entered
into an agreement with the Farmers Home Administration for a loan in the
amount of seven hundred eighty-nine thousand dollars ($789,000.00), and have
recei ved an grant from the State of washington Department of Communi ty
Development in the amount of three hundred fifty thousand dollars
($350,000.00) to be used for the renovation of the Port Townsend community
Center in Port Townsend, Washington; and
WHEREAS, it appears to,the Board of county Commissioners that it
is necessary to establish an initial budget for the Port Townsend community
Center project in the amount of two hundred fifty thousand ($250,000.00), and
is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the budget be established.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a budget of two hundred fifty
thousand dollars ($250,000.00) be established, and that the Jefferson County
Treasurer establish a fund to receive such monies.
