I\JUV ~ 1 V:!t{~ TO: FROM: RE: , IEFFERSON COUNTY ßOÀRD OF COMMISSIONERS Gentlemen: Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget, it appears that an adjustment should be made within the, Juv & Fam CrÐudget of Expenditures for the above-named department, . Due~to there being sufficiènt funds in other acc~unt~ w1thin the þudget of this department to permit the necessary adjustment(~), I hereb~ request the fo1:lowing transfer(s)~ Transfer FROM: (BARS Account Number and Title) 527.10.31 0010 527.10.35.0010 Total FROM $150.00 $400.00 $550.00 Office Supplies Small Tools & Equip-Dictaphone Transfer TO: (BARS Account Number and Title) 527.1031.0030 527.10 43 0020 TOTAL TO $150.00 $400.00 $550.00 Office Supplies--GAL (Guardian Ad Litem) Travel-Guardian Ad Litem Reason for Trans, fer(s): Start-up and functional costs for the Guardian Ad Litem program have been more than expected and anticipated. These transfers are necessary to cover the costs of operation for this pro- gram. I have used my dictaphone allocation, I am still in need of another piece of equipment (of the dictating variety) for my office. However, we have limped along this year and have ,vacillated with the dilemna: do we replace all our equipment (2 units) or do we add to an antiquated and probably no longer' ,built , set? We vacillate and have. Ergo, the transfer. sS{~c: ~~1! LS:' LOIS M. SMITH,'Director Juvenile and Family Court Services , --. ,.'.. '5~15~' vot 15 f~t~' 00' i:j, .' cc: Chairman George Brown!
