Vaca'tion of Ellis Plat )
RESOLUTION ~-89
WHEREAS, the Boundaries and Plats Act (Chapter 58.17.212 RCW) permits
the vacation of lots, blocks, and streets of recorded subdivision plats; and
WHEREAS, the Ellis Plat was filed with the Jefferson County Auditor on
April 13, 1871 in Volume 1, Page 5, of Plats, records of Jefferson County,
Washington; and
WHEREAS, a petition has been submitted to Jefferson County to vacate
all lots, blocks, and streets for the entirety of the Ellis Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning Commission has recommended
vacation of the Ellis Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of" Commissioners finds the
vacation of all lots, blocks, and streets within said Plat to be in the
interest of the public,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ellis Plat be vacated in its
entirety~ and further that said Plat vacation be noted upon the original
plat by the Jefferson County Auditor.
