Vacation of a Portion of
Endolyne Road in
Basalt Beach Tracts

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has
reviewed a road vacation petition submitted by Jannie and Melvyn
Barker; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a
public hearing on the road vacation petition on October 12, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
considered testimony of the public, comments from applicable
departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from the
Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County
Planning Commission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
determined at the public hearing that the public will benefit
from the vacation of a portion of the road and such vacation
complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other
applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and
Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated
and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road
Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of Endolyne Road being
40 feet wide by 100 feet long lying adjacent to Lot 2 of Block 2
and the South 100 feet of Lot 2 of Block 4 of the Plat of Basalt
Beach Tracts, as recorded in Volume 3, Page 22 of Plats, records
of Jefferson County, State of Washington.
