CREATING A NEW FUND NUMBER
FOR SOLID WASTE
WHEREAS, currently the Solid Waste Fund is numbered as a
Special Revenue Fund #13400 (138-000-01Cì; and
WHEREAS, the State Auditors have stated that it should be
considered an Enterprise Fund and therefore needs to have a
different fund number; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that as per the Audi tor I s request a new
fund number for Sol id Waste is hereby established as No. 13990
(401-000-010) and that the previous fund number be closed out.

MESSAGE
Currently, Solid Waste 1S numbered as a Special Revenue Fund 13400 (138-000-010).
In talking with the State Auditors, I have found that it should be considered an
Enterprise Fund and therefore needs to have a different fund #. Therefore I am
requesting that we create a coorect new fund # for Solid Waste 13990 (401-000-010).
Please issue a resolution or whatever necessary pa.perwork for this new fund # and
to close out old fund #.
