RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, Jefferson County is entering into an agreement with
the Department of the Army for the construction of a Section 14
Emergency Bank Protection Project, on the Little Quilcene River,
and
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners has the authority under RCW 36.32.100 to "sign all
documents requiring the signature of the Board, and his
signature as Chairman of the Board shall be as legal and binding
as if all members had affixed their names;" and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner B.G. Brown was duly elected by the
members of the Board of County Commissioners to serve as Chairman
for the years 1988 and 1989;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Commissioner B.G. Brown
is hereby authorized to sign as Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners Board of Commissioners on any document necessary
for the Local Co-operation Agreement with the Department of the
Army.
