WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed
a road vacation petition submitted by Anthony Stroeder; and

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a
public hearing on the road vacation petition on November 9, 1987; and
~
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered
testimony of the public, comments from applicable departments, agencies
and offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County Public Works
Department and Jefferson County Planning Commission at the public
hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at
the public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of a
portion of the road and such vacation complies with the Jefferson
County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or
ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and
Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and
abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation
Ordinance No. 3-85: the ten feet by approximately 300 feet alleys in
Blocks 13 and 16, and the ten feet by approximately 380 feet alleys in
Blocks 14 and 15, and that portion of the sixty feet in width by
approximately 210 feet in length portion of Sophia Street (excepting
Fredericks Street, Elwood Street, and Bayview Street) lying between
Blocks 13 and 14, and 15 and 16, all in the Plat of Eisenbeis Bay View
Addition, as recorded in Vol. 2, Page 54 of Plats, Records of Jefferson
County, State of Washington.
