WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a
road vacation petHion submitted by Larry Matson; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public
hearing on the road vacation petition on January 11, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered
testimony of the public, comments from applicable departments, agencies and
offices, and recommendation from the Jefferson County Public Works
Department and Jefferson County Planning Commission at the public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the
public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion
of the road and such vacation complies with the Jefferson County
Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and
Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
;.JOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and
abandoned pursuant to RCW 36,87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation
Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of South Point Road being approximate] y
200 feet in length and 30 feet in width adjacent to Lots 12 and 13 in
Division 3 of the Plat of Bridgehaven, as recorded in Volume 4 of Plats,
Pages 67 and 68, records of Jefferson County, State of Washington.
