WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Conunissioners has reviewed a road
vacation petition submitted by Calvin and Erma Ray; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on
the road vacation petition on February 15, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of
the public, conunents from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and
rE!commendation from the Jefferson County Pub] ic Works Department and Jefferson
County Planning Conunission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Conunissioners determined at the
public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of the
road and such vacation complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and
other applicable plans, policies or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to HCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson
County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the folJowing be vacated and abandoned
pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85:
that portion of Forest Drive lying northerly of a line thirty (30) feet
northerly of the center line and adjacent to Lot 17, 18, 19, and 20 of Williams
Addition as recorded in Volume 5, Page 20 of Plats, records of Jefferson County,
State of Washington.
