RESOLUTION NO. 43-88
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND INTENT TO SELL
COUNTY SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County
Commissioners, Jefferson County, Washington, that it would be in
the best interests of the County to dispose of all surplus
personal property belonging to the County. All Departments were
so notif led of the intent and requested to submi t surplus
property lists to the County Public Works Department by the 15th
day of April, 1988; and
WHEREAS, lists of County surplus personal property were
submitted by the departments as requested; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared
for the purpose of holding a Public Auction to dispose of
certain items of County personal property defined as surplus by
the County Departments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held
thereon to admi t evidence for or against the propriety and
advisability of the proposed auction.
