RESOLUTION NO. 49-88
INCREASE TO PETTY CASH FUND
AUDITOR'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Auditor's Office has
requested an increase in their Office Petty Cash Revolving Fund
from the amount of $698.00, established by Resolution No. 30-88,
to the sum of $900.00, to cover cash transactions in their
office in a timely manner; and
WHEREAS, the extension to the said Revolving Fund was
not included in the Auditor's Budget for 1988; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists which
could not have been foreseen at the time of adoption of said
budget, and the extension of the Auditor's Revolving Fund by the
sum of $202.00 is necessary in order to conduct the affairs of
the office in a prompt and orderly manner; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she
is hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount
of $202.00 payable to the Auditor, for the purpose of increasing
their Revolving Fund balance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof
is one to meet needs and this Resolution shall be in force and
take effect without further notice or hearing.
