INCREASE TO PETTY CASH FUND
PLANNING/BUILDING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning/Building Department
has requested an increase in their Office Petty Cash Revolving Fund,
established by Resolution No. 86-83, dated the 20th day of September,
1983, from the amount of $25.00 to the sum of $50.00 to cover cash
transactions in their office in a timely manner; and
WHEREAS, the necessary extension to the said Revolving
Fund was not included in the Planning/Building Department Budget for
1987; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists which could
not have been foreseen at the time of adoption of said budget, and
the extension of the Planning/Building Department's Revolving Fund
by the sum of $25.00 is necessary in order to conduct the affairs of
the Office in a prompt and orderly manner; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is
hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of
$25.00 payable to the Planning/Building Department, for the purpose
of increasing their Revolving Fund balance.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is

without further notice or hearing.
