RESOLUTION NO.
12-87
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND INTENT TO SELL
COUNTY SURPLUS PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of County
Commissioners, Jefferson County, washington, that it would be in
the best interests of the County to dispose of all surplus personal
property belonging to the County and so notified all departments of
the intent and requested that surplus property lists be submitted
by the 20th day of February, 1987; and
WHEREAS, lists of County surplus personal property were
submitted by the departments as requested; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for
the purpose of holding a Public Auction to dispose of certain items
of County personal property defined as surplus by the County Depart-
men t s .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing be held
thereon to admit evidence for or against the propriety and advis-
ability of the proposed auction.
