A RESOLUTION DISSOLVING THE EMPLOYEES'
HEALTH INSURANCE TRUST FUND AND PROVID-
ING FOR AN EQUITY FUND TRANSFER OF MONIES
THEREIN
WHEREAS, an Employees' Health Insurance Trust Fund was
established by Resolution No. 21-85, dated the 25th day of March,
1985, for the purpose of helping to defray deductab1e costs pay-
able by the employees; and
WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary to retain a special
Employees' Health Insurance Trust Fund; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby
directed to transfer the balance of monies remaining in the
Employees' Health Insurance Trust Fund to Current Expense in the
form of a residual equity fund transfer.

ESTABLISHMENT OF EMPLOYEES'
HEALTH INSURANCE TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has changed its employee medical
insurance benefit plan to one which requires a deductable payable by
the employee; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes to help defray the costs of the
said deductable to the employees; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that an Employees' Health Insurance Trust Fund is hereby established to
help defray deductable costs payable by the employees.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer is hereby
authorized to transfer funds as needed from the Current Expense Non-
Departmental Fund No. 2610, BARS Account No. 597.00.30, into Account No.
624, Employees' Health Insurance Trust Fund, not to exceed $45,000.00
in the aggregate, as per the 1985 Current Expense Fund Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Auditor is hereby
authorized to disperse funds from the said Trust Account in accordance
with the policy set forth by the Board of County Commissioners, and in
effect at the time liability for medical costs accrue to the employees.
