JII.I' 1; ,.1' ./ l 6~ 25, & April 1, 1987 RESOLUTION NO. 25-87 HEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS WHEREAS, various County Departments have insufficient funds in their 1987 Budget of Expenditures to cover additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing the said budgets; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commis- sioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of making their budgets for 1987 and the sums necessary to meet such need and emergency are $17,000 for the County Commissioners' Office, $23,800 for the County Parks Department, $16,000 for the Public Works Department, $10,470 for the Sheriff's Department and $5,000 for the Veterans' Relief Fund, and it is in the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriations be made; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared and that appropriations be made for the above named County Departments and Special Fund in the amounts so specified. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said emergency appropriations and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 6th day of April, 1987, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriations for such alleged emergency.
