The area is legally described as: the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter and the southwest quarter of Section 12, Twp. 30N., Rge. 2 W.W.M.; and the north half of the southeast quarter laying west of Cape George Road, and the North half and the southwest quarter, and the northwest quarter, and that portion of Cape George Village Division 6 in the northeast quarter of Section 13, Twp. 30N., Rge 2 W.W.M. Jefferson County Commissioners % Mr Gary Rowe, Dir. of Public Works Court House Port Townsend, WA 98368 SUBJECT: JEFFERSON COUNTY FRANCHISE Gentlemen: Anticipating comply with requirements attached. the requirement of a Jefferson County Franchise to grant eligibility specifications and financing for our pending project, we submit an application, The Cape George Project as presently recommended by the Washington State Dept. of Ecolocy (ECOLOGY) involves an interlocal agreement with the City of Port Townsend and the use of utility transmission lines and other facilities as will be arranged with the County Public Works Dept. In effect, it is necessary for this municipal corporation to have a franchise to normally function under all of the authority prescribed in Title 56 of R.C.W. We anticipate the use of the county right of way between the boundaries of the Cape George Sewer District and the City of Port Townsend, and other necessary use of the county property as may be required. In addition. we must provide utility services within the boundaries of the district. A voucher authorizing the payment of $ 100.00 has been signed by the District Commissioners this date.
