RESOLUTION NO.
32-87
ESTABLISHMENT OF REVOLVING FUND
JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR
WHEREAS, the establishment of a Revolving Fund for use by the
Jefferson County Fair is necessary to allow the Fair Board to conduct
the financial affairs of the annual County Fair; and,
WHEREAS, it has been adjudged necessary that such a revolving
fund be established in the amount of $6,000.00, to be used for the
needs of the Fair Board to conduct the Jefferson County Fair held
annually during the month August; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Treasurer be, and
she is hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of
$6,000.00 payable to the Jefferson County Fair for the purpose of
establishing a revolving fund, upon receipt of a written request from
the Fair's Treasurer at a time deemed necessary and appropriate to
begin the arrangements for the Fair.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Revolving Fund shall be
maintained in a bank as a checking account, which will be opened in
advance of the scheduled Fair dates and closed by the end of each year.
All expenditures made from said Revolving Fund shall be reimbursed by
warrant at an interval deemed necessary by the Fair Board to maintain
the fund level established.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one
to meet needs and this resolution shall be in force and take effect
without further notice or hearing.
