RESOLUTION NO.
33-87
POLICY GOVERNING THE USE OF THE
JEFFERSON COUNTY FAIR REVOLVING FUND
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Jefferson County Fair Revolving
Fund is to provide for contingencies and smaller disbursements involved
in the operation of the annual Jefferson County Fair; and
WHEREAS, a policy is needed to outline the manner that this
fund is to be used; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following policy is hereby adopted
for the use of the Jefferson County Fair Revolving Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that disbursements from said
revolving fund shall be limited to $1,000.00. However, because the
Board of County Commissioners recognizes that emergencies will
periodically occur requiring immediate disbursement of amounts greater
than $1,000 the Fair Board is authorized to make these purchases
through the Revolving Fund as long as the following conditions are met:
1. The purchase is properly authorized by the
Fair Board.
2. The purchase is properly documented.
3. A voucher is presented to the County Auditor
with necessary receipt documentation for
replenishing the Revolving Fund within thirty
days of the purchase.
