WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this board of County Commissioners
that it is not in the public interest to retain as county road right of way:
The north ten (10) feet and the south ten (10) feet of Colwell Street lying between
Blocks 23 and 26 of Chalmer's Second Addition to Irondale, as recorded in Volume 3, Page 9
of Plats, records of Jefferson County,
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, same is useless,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Engineer is hereby directed to examine
said road and report his opinion as to whether this county road right of way should be
vacated and abandoned and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance
to the Board, and that such report be filed as soon as possible. The hearing date for the
proposed vacation is June 8, 1987, at the hour of 11 :00 (2.m,,'g., in the Commissioners t

the Port Townsend leader, a weekly newspaper which has
been estoblished, published in the English language and cir.
culoted continuously as a weekly newspaper in the town of
Port Townsend, in said County and State, and for generol cir.
culation in said county for more than six (6) months prior to the
dote of the first publicotion of the Notice hereto attached, and
that the said Port Townsend leader was on the 27th day of
June 1941, opproved as a legal newspaper by the Superior
Court of said Jefferson County, ond that onnexed is true copy
